04.22.2015: Earth Day – Forever Green |Sacred Nature|

“NATURE DOESN’T NEED PEOPLE, PEOPLE NEED NATURE.”

We depend entirely on a healthy natural environment for our wealth and wellbeing. It is fundamental to our economy and social structures, our homes and neighbourhoods, our ability to create and construct things, and to our health and happiness. Human beings are part of the natural world; we are one species amongst millions and have evolved to be part of nature, not apart from it.

While millions of people regularly watch TV programs about nature and wildlife, the membership of nature conservation organizations is growing but really needs more support to help wildlife for the future. Legislation intended to protect nature is becoming more abundant and a growing area of land (and more recently, sea) is being designated as having special protection. However wildlife and wild places have been declining in quantity and quality for decades and continue to do so. The high value that people often attach to nature on a personal, individual level, is rarely translated into public policy or the investment and spending decisions of government, organizations and private companies.

Nature matters simply because it does, but also because it brings people huge emotional value, it delivers a wide range of valuable goods and services that are of practical benefit to society, and much of the emotional and practical value that it generates has financial value which contributes to the economic performance of the industrialised countries. It is central to addressing many of theย industralisedย most pressing social and economic problems (such as declining mental health, increasing non-communicable diseases, declining social cohesion, increasing inequality, increasing flood risk, increasing urbanisation) and to maintaining the productivity and quality of life of a growing and aging population).

An impression about what i DO …

I've told you once that I find quite amazing the way your eye capture space and time through a camera. In your work/vision I see a strong intuition, awareness of your surroundings, an awaking of sensibility that has being developing year after year; and a domain of the technique. Your sight is the one of a life apprentice. Remember that art is one of the most noble human activities, if your heart is true, it may open our soul to new ways of learning about ourselves and to undesrtand the human condition. Life it self is a whole mistery, human beings had being trying to give it meaning through art since imemorial times. Rimbaud once said: ''Le Poรจte se fait voyant par un long, immense et raisonnรฉ dรฉrรจglement de tous les sens.'' Inquiring in the matter of tuning our sences to further horizons, Rimbaud had it clear, art made him a ''รœbermensch'' in therms of Nietzche's ''will of power''. In other words, we create our reallity and we artists, we reflect it with art. We may give it cause, to incite human mind and soul evolution. We need more artists in the world. I'm glad you're one of them.

03.22.2013: World Water Day – Element of life|Pray to Water|

UNITED NATIONS – WATER Art Page

Emoto Masaru:

Believed that water was a “blueprint for our reality” and that emotional “energies” and “vibrations” could change the physical structure of water.

Emoto made the claim that water exposed to positive speech and thoughts would result in visually “pleasing” crystals being formed when that water was frozen, and that negative intention would yield “ugly” frozen crystal formations.

Emoto claimed that different water sources would produce different crystalline structures when frozen. For example, he claimed that a water sample from a mountain stream when frozen would show structures of beautifully-shaped geometric design, but those structures would be distorted and randomly formed if the sample were taken from a polluted water source. Emoto believed that these changes could be eliminated by exposing water to ultraviolet light or certain electromagnetic waves.

12.21.2012: Back to the Roots – Ancient Knowledge|The Wise People|

“Traditions are imploding and exploding everywhere – everything is coming together, for better or worse, and we can no longer pretend we’re all living in different worlds because we’re on different continents.” – Philip Glass
We live in a world where our common agenda is PEACE.
The multicultural traditions, races, philosophies converged as one when we realize that as humanity we breath the same air, drink the same water, eat from the same soil.
The opportunity to grow as an earthling with no prejudice, discrimination nor judgment towards others, makes me have the ability to contemplate the true essence of our human complexity. -emotions and consciousness-

“When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us.”

07.17.10: Fire & Ice – Shapes and Colours of the Earth |Land of Myth|

Mystical place of uncountable experiences. Untouched nature. Pristine Air, Crystalline Water.

“Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what Iโ€™ve tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate To say that for destruction ice Is also great And would suffice.” -ROBERT FROST

The banner of peace is a symbol of the Roerich Pact.

This pact is the first international treaty dedicated to the protection of artistic and scientific institutions and historical monuments. It was signed on April 15, 1935. The banner of peace was proposed by Nicholas Roerich for an international pact for the protection of culture values.

Roerich described the sign thus:

“The proposed banner is the symbol of whole world, not a country, but the whole civilized world. The Banner proposed has on the white background three united amaranth spheres as a symbol of Eternity and Unity.”

11.11.11: Documentary -Planet Earth |Earthlings vs Development|

“We are living in exceptional times. Scientists tell us that we have 10 years to change the way we live, avert the depletion of natural resources and the catastrophic evolution of the Earth’s climate.”

The stakes are high for us and our children. Everyone should take part in the effort, and HOME has been conceived to take a message of mobilization out to every human being.
For this purpose, HOME needs to be free. A patron, the PPR Group, made this possible. EuropaCorp, the distributor, also pledged not to make any profit because Home is a non-profit film.
HOME has been made for you : share it! And act for the planet.

– Yann Arthus-Bertran
